Dear Fellow Animal Carer

If you’re anything like me, you care a great deal about your dog. You want to ensure he is healthy in every aspect. You spend time working out what to feed him, exercise him regularly, where he spends his time and regularly use your preferred health professional.

Yet, still he seems to have health problems. Problems with his mouth or teeth, problems with fleas and worms. Perhaps he currently has a serious health problem, which is why you’re reading this.

Diabetes? Arthritis? Allergies? Skin sensitivities? Skin eruptions? Pancreatitis? Bladder infections? Dragging his bottom on the ground? Itching or chewing himself? It’s almost an endless list.

These are all very common ailments in the domestic dogs of today.

But they don’t have to be. You can solve the problem very easily, if you only knew what the cause was.

What about immunising your dog? Is vaccination the only way? What about the dangers linked to vaccination. Is there a safer alternative, one that will also be accepted by boarding kennels?

Could you be the cause of your dog's ill health, by your choices and actions?

It’s important to stop and reflect for a moment.

What exactly is it that YOU want for your dog? Forget about what other people are telling you. What is it that YOU are trying to achieve?

A healthy dog? A naturally healthy dog? Or simply a dog without symptoms?

What you want makes a huge difference to what you can achieve.

How would it feel to have a system in place where you were in control of your dog’s health?

Would that make you feel good?

It can seem as if there is a maze of confusing and conflicting information ‘out there’ about what is the best way to provide your dog with the most natural good health.

I am a realist. Many people really don’t care about the accuracy of the information they give you as long as it’s profitable for them. And it’s up to you to be wary of these people as they abound. Often they are disguised as society’s most respectable and learned people.

No, I’m not decrying learned information. Or even respectability, necessarily. What I am simply trying to convey to you is the importance of you feeling good about the information you take on board.

This is one of the most reliable ways to know if something works for you. How do you FEEL about what you are doing? Never mind your peers or the professionals all clamouring for your attention.

Learning how you feel is likely to free you up as you become more proficient in this. Your feelings reflect your own inner wisdom. Other people may let you down, but once you learn what your feelings mean to you, THAT will never let you down.

OK, I’m a bit off course here. But it gives you an idea where I come from. Is that where you come from, too? Or where you want to come from?

Despite the many experts on dog health, the fact is that ill health in dogs is at an all time low, with lower life expectancy than ever before, and frequent serious health problems. Even fertility has become an issue.

Something has gone terribly wrong.

I believe the reason for this is that humans incorrectly feel our logic is preferable to natural laws. The holy cow has become science. And yet every true scientist will tell you our knowledge is very basic and that we are learning all the time.

I haven’t set myself up as an expert on dog health. Or on anything, in fact. I don’t consider that there are any human experts on dog health. I do, however, believe that NATURE is the expert, as are dogs themselves.

What I try to do is to interpret natural laws and appropriate species needs and bring this combination into a modern person's life. My aim is to understand what a dog's needs and requirements are, based on nature and then adapt it for you to apply easily.

It's no good understanding what your dog needs, if you can't apply it easily. Few people have the an abundance of free time to devote to complicated processes.

Everything I promote and believe in comes from natural laws, from natural methods, from the depth and breadth of nature.

But at the same time, everything I promote is not only easy to understand, (as I always try to give you my reasons), but also easy to apply.

I know I’m not alone in this. I know more and more people are feeling the wisdom of nature. I know more and more people are tired of the promotion of anything and everything either for ego or financial gratification. Health and truth often come a poor second under this system.

Following natural laws in nutrition and health care can resolve probably every known health problem.

I do know that diabetes, arthritis, sensitivities, skin eruptions, fertility and practically everything else can be cured (note CURED, not just helped) by a switch to a diet based on your dog’s evolutionary history.

I also know the powers of natural therapies, in particular of homeopathy and how that can heal.

Let me give you an example.

A dog was brought to me with a bad ear infection. He was shaking his head, whimpering and had already been prescribed antibiotics several times, which weren't working. He also had rather a strong will when out on walks. His current diet was dried kibble.

I put him on a healthy diet and prescribed appropriate homeopathic treatment for him.

I didn't hear from his people for four weeks. Then their report was that his ears had 'cleared up brilliantly' and his behaviour had 'improved dramatically'.

This is the typical reaction of dogs under this combined type of health care.
